Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre

The Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre (DSYTC) is a non-profit organization based in Ottawa, dedicated to helping youth aged 13-21 and families throughout Ontario overcome substance use and related issues. They provide evidence-based programs tailored to the specific needs of youth, offering comprehensive assessment, 3-month live-in treatment, 3-month post-live-in continuing care, and family services such as education, counselling, and support.

 

DSYTC, the only Centre of its kind in Eastern Ontario, operates without formal fees and does not require a professional referral. Since 1993, the Centre has been serving young people and their families, supported by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, the Champlain Local Health Integration Network, and the community's compassionate citizens.
